Internet Banking Agreement and Disclosure
Introduction: This Internet Banking Agreement and Disclosure governs
your use of Internet Banking. Throughout this web site the Agreement
and Disclosure will be referred to as “Agreement.” By
using Internet Banking, you agree to all of the terms of this
Agreement. Please read it carefully and keep a copy for your
records. Internet Banking consists of a series of components
that make up an on-line web site that provides viewing capabilities
for all the products offered by Peoples Bank.
Fees: There is no charge for Internet Banking.
Definitions: You or Your – The person(s) subscribing to
or using Internet Banking. We, Us, or Our – Refers to Peoples
Bank and any agent, independent contractor, designee, or assignee
Peoples Bank may involve in the provision of Internet Banking.
Business Day – Any calendar day other than Saturday, Sunday,
or any holidays recognized by Peoples Bank.
Virus Protection: Peoples
Bank is not responsible
for any electronic viruses that you may encounter. We encourage
our customers to routinely scan their personal computers and diskettes
using a reliable virus product to detect and remove any viruses.
Undetected or unrepaired viruses may corrupt and destroy your programs,
files and even your hardware. Additionally, you may unintentionally
transmit the virus to other computers..
Log-On and Security: In order to ensure the security of your accounts,
we will end your online session ten (10) minutes after we have
detected no activity . This is to protect you in case you leave
your computer unattended while you are logged on. Simply re-enter
your password and your session will be re-established. Because
your password is used to access your account, you should treat
it as you would any other sensitive personal data. You should carefully
select a password that is hard to guess. (We suggest that you stay
away from names, dates, or information that may be easily guessed.)
Keep you password safe. Memorize your password and never tell it
to anyone. Change your password frequently. This can be done at
the beginning of each Internet Banking session.

to check the balance of your accounts and to transfer funds between
enrolled accounts. According to Federal Regulations, you may not
make more than (6) pre-authorized or automatic transfers from your
Money Market account or Savings account during a given monthly
statement cycle. There are no limits to the number of transfers
from you checking accounts. Shown balances of accounts may include
deposits subject to verification by us. The balance may also differ
from your records due to deposits in progress, outstanding checks
or other withdrawals, payments or charges. A transfer request may
not result in immediate availability because of the time required
to process the request. If you have further questions contact us
at (817) 605-3250. The transfer cut off time is 3:00 PM Central
Time Zone.
Stop Payments: You can make stop payment requests through the
system until 3:00 PM Central Time. These requests will be honored
for six (6) months from the date you initiate the request. You
may extend this time frame by requesting another order at the time
is expires. We must have reasonable and sufficient time to honor
your request. You understand and agree that, unless your request
is complete and accurate we may not be able to honor your request,
or stop payment of the item. You are also responsible for verifying
if the check has already been paid. The system allows current and
previous statements only, anything before this period is your sole
responsibility. You agree to hold us harmless from and against
any claim arising in connection with our refusal to pay such item.
You further agree not to hold us responsible should the item be
paid through inadvertence, accident or oversight, or if by reason
of such payment other items drawn by you are returned insufficient.
The appropriate fee will be assessed for each request.
Notice of Your Rights and Liabilities: Notify us immediately if
your password has been lost or stolen. Failure to notify us immediately
